The Reading Garden is the first project for the East Peoria Community Foundation. Major donors will be recognized, and the first statuary will be unveiled.

Brought to the City by the East Peoria Community Foundation, future plans for Levee Park include a water attraction, sculptures, venues for markets and festivals in an open multipurpose lawn, space for sporting and music events, and terraced seating areas. Levee Park will be family-friendly, provide space for community gatherings, and become the new iconic face of East Peoria.

The Levee District opened in March 2013 and includes a combination of retail stores, restaurants, hotel and commercial space, East Peoria City Hall, and Fondulac District Library.

The Foundation is accepting sponsorships for Levee Park, which formerly was called Civic Plaza. For more information visit www.eastpeoriacommunityfoundation.org.
